          Ordinary cutting machine is a basic equipment used in industrial and civilian fields for cutting materials such as metal, stone, wood, etc. With its simple structure, convenient operation, and low cost, it is widely used in daily processing scenarios. 1、 Core working principle
Ordinary cutting machines use power to drive cutting components to operate at high speed, utilizing mechanical friction or impact between cutting components (such as grinding wheels and saw blades) and materials to achieve material separation and cutting:
1. The motor drives the spindle to rotate, and the spindle drives the cutting components (such as grinding wheels and alloy saw blades) to reach the rated speed (usually several thousand revolutions per minute);
2. The operator manually pushes the material or cutting machine to bring the high-speed cutting components into contact with the material to be cut;
3. The cutting components gradually cut the material through friction (such as metal cutting with a grinding wheel) or cutting (such as wood cutting with a saw blade). Some models are equipped with cooling devices (such as water spray and air blowing) to reduce cutting temperature and minimize dust/debris.
2、 Core structure composition
1. Power system: With single-phase/three-phase motors as the core, it provides the required speed and torque for cutting, with a power typically ranging from 0.5-3kW (civilian small machines have lower power, while industrial machines have higher power);
2. Cutting components: including spindle, cutting blade (grinding wheel/saw blade), protective cover, which can prevent debris splashing and is a key component for safety protection;
3. Workbench: Used for placing materials to be cut, some models are equipped with positioning baffles or fixtures to assist in fixing materials and ensuring cutting accuracy (such as right angle cutting, fixed length cutting);
4. Control components: including power switch, manual push handle (or cutting machine moving mechanism), some models have speed adjustment knob (suitable for different materials).
3、 Performance characteristics
1. Simple structure and easy maintenance: No complex electrical control system, easy replacement of core components (motor, cutting blade), daily maintenance only requires cleaning and checking the wear of cutting blades;
2. Low operational threshold: No professional training required, ordinary people can quickly get started, suitable for small machining or non precision cutting scenarios;
3. Low cost: The unit price of equipment is usually several hundred to several thousand yuan (much lower than that of CNC cutting machines), and consumables such as cutting blades are easy to purchase and affordable;
4. Limitations: Low cutting accuracy (relying on manual operation), not suitable for high-precision machining; The cutting efficiency is limited, and it is mostly manually fed, making it difficult to mass produce; Some models, such as grinding wheel cutting machines, have high noise and dust levels and require protective measures.
