The single station low-temperature wax injection machine is an equipment used in the investment casting industry to produce wax molds. It has the characteristics of compact structure and easy operation. The following is a detailed introduction:
1、 Structural composition
1. Wax storage tank: used to store low-temperature wax materials and has the function of monitoring wax temperature to ensure the stability of wax material temperature, thereby ensuring the stability of wax pattern and even casting size.
2. Wax injection cylinder: It is a key component for wax injection, which drives the wax material to be injected through internal mechanisms such as pistons, and also has wax temperature monitoring function.
3. Wax transfer tube and wax injection head: The wax transfer tube is used to connect the wax storage tank and the wax injection head, conveying the wax material to the wax injection head. The wax injection head is responsible for accurately injecting the wax material into the mold cavity, and both have the function of monitoring the wax temperature. In addition, the wax injection head usually adopts a conical sealing structure to reduce wear and wax leakage caused by frequent movement.
4. Die pressing device: including die pressing cylinder, die pressing template, and alignment template, etc. The die pressing cylinder is connected to the die pressing template through four shafts. When closing the mold, it can tightly press the mold to prevent loosening or detachment during wax injection, ensuring the quality of wax mold forming.
5. Bracket: Used for installing the wax injection head, it can move forward and backward along the groove, and some can also adjust the height up and down through a screw and an adjusting handle to meet the requirements of different sizes of molds for the position of the wax injection head.
6. Temperature control system: It can accurately control the wax temperature of wax storage tanks, wax injection tanks, and other parts. At the same time, it can also control the mold temperature by controlling the cooling water temperature entering the mold.
7. Electrical control system: There are two control modes: manual and automatic. The safe voltage of 24V DC is connected to the electromagnetic reversing valve, and an interlocking interlock system is added to effectively control routine programs and some violations of operations. There are also first and second level protections to ensure overload during mechanical operation.
2、 Working principle
After the device is started, first heat the low-temperature wax material in the wax storage tank to melt it and maintain it within the appropriate temperature range.
After the mold is ready, the operator places the mold on the mold pressing device and pushes the mold pressing plate through the mold pressing cylinder to close the mold.
3. Then, the piston in the wax injection cylinder, under the action of the hydraulic or pneumatic system, presses the wax material in the wax storage tank into the wax head through the wax delivery pipe, and injects it into the mold cavity through the wax injection head.
After the wax injection is completed, maintain a certain holding time to allow the wax material to cool and solidify in the mold.
5. Finally, the compression cylinder moves in reverse, opens the mold, removes the wax mold, and completes a wax injection cycle.
