The closed type vibration shell machine is a device used in the field of precision casting, mainly for removing the mold shell after pouring molten steel. The following is a detailed introduction about it:
1、 Structural composition
1. Body and shell: usually made of sturdy metal materials such as steel plates, forming a closed space that supports internal components and prevents dust and noise from leaking out. Some models will also use soundproof materials for their casings to further reduce noise pollution.
2. Vibration mechanism: Generally, air picks or exciters are used as vibration sources. The wind pick is driven by compressed air to generate high-frequency vibration, causing the shell on the mold to shake off; The exciter is driven by a motor to generate vibrations of different frequencies and amplitudes to meet the requirements of different vibration shells.
3. Clamping and fixing device: used to fix the mold shell to be vibrated, ensuring that the mold shell will not shake or fall off during the vibration process. Common clamping devices include clamping cylinders, movable clamping blocks, and fixed clamping blocks, which achieve clamping and releasing actions through the expansion and contraction of the cylinders.
4. Pneumatic door body: set on the front of the main body of the vibrating shell machine, used to close the opening of the vibrating shell machine. Pneumatic door bodies are usually composed of slide components and pneumatic doors, which can move horizontally on the slide through the drive of the door cylinder, achieving the sealing and opening of the opening.
5. Dust removal and waste collection unit: The dust removal unit is generally installed on the upper edge of the rear side of the vibrating shell machine, used to discharge the dust inside the vibrating shell machine, and can be connected to a dust collection device to assist in dust discharge; The waste collection unit is located on the lower edge of the rear side of the vibrating shell machine body, used to collect mold shell waste, including waste collection ports, U-shaped plates, and baffles. The baffles can prevent waste from overflowing. When the waste accumulates to a certain extent, the baffles can be controlled by the baffle cylinder to open and discharge the waste.
2、 Working principle
Firstly, the operator places the poured mold shell on the clamping device and securely fixes it using mechanisms such as clamping cylinders.
2. Then, activate the driving device of the pneumatic door body to move the pneumatic door to the opening of the vibrating shell machine body, seal the opening, and form a closed working space.
3. Next, turn on the vibration mechanism, and the air pick or exciter will start working, generating high-frequency vibration and gradually causing the shell on the mold to shake off.
4. The dust generated during the vibration process is collected and discharged by the dust removal unit, while the fallen mold waste falls into the waste collection unit for collection.
After the vibration shell is completed, first close the vibration mechanism, then start the driving device of the pneumatic door body, open the pneumatic door, and the operator takes out the workpiece after the vibration shell to complete the entire vibration shell process.
3、 Performance characteristics
1. Good environmental friendliness: The enclosed design effectively prevents dust from flying during the vibration process, reduces pollution to the working environment, and protects the health of operators. At the same time, some equipment is also equipped with dust removal devices, further improving the dust removal effect.
2. Significant noise reduction effect: The use of sound insulation materials and enclosed structures can effectively isolate the noise generated by vibration, reduce noise pollution in the workplace, and improve the working environment.
3. Protecting the workpiece: By using reasonable clamping and fixing devices, as well as auxiliary support measures during vibration, it is possible to avoid damage to precision castings caused by hard compression during the vibration process.
4. Extend equipment life: An auxiliary support mechanism is installed below the clamping mechanism to improve the stress condition of the mold shell and clamping mechanism, making the clamping more reliable and reducing the damage of vibration to the clamping mechanism and other components, effectively extending the service life of the equipment.
5. High degree of automation: Some advanced enclosed vibration shell machines are equipped with automation control systems, which can achieve automatic opening and closing of pneumatic doors, automatic adjustment of vibration parameters, automatic control of waste collection, and other functions, improving production efficiency and reducing manual operation errors.
