The single station C-type wax injection machine is a commonly used equipment in the precision casting industry. The following is a detailed introduction about it:
1. Structural design
(1) C-type structure: A C-type welded structure with steel structure as the main beam, which has high strength and stability. This structural design enables the equipment to withstand significant pressure during wax injection, ensuring the accuracy and quality of wax injection. At the same time, the C-shaped structure also provides convenient space for the installation and operation of the mold, making it easy for operators to load, unload, and adjust the mold.
(2) Fixed workbench: equipped with a fixed workbench to provide a stable support platform for the mold. The surface of the workbench is flat and has high precision, which can ensure that the mold remains horizontal during the wax injection process and avoid wax mold quality problems caused by mold tilting.
(3) Nozzle design: The nozzle is usually a rear nozzle, which facilitates accurate injection of wax into the mold cavity. The nozzle of some wax injection machines can be adjusted up and down, and can also move horizontally during wax injection to meet the wax injection needs of different molds, ensuring that the wax liquid can evenly fill all parts of the mold.
2. Working principle
(1) Wax preparation: Heat the wax material to a suitable temperature through a heating system, making it liquid or semi liquid, and use insulation devices to maintain the stability of the wax temperature. Liquid wax, through a heat exchange system, can reduce the wax temperature gradient to a stable temperature paste wax, in order to better control the wax injection process.
(2) Mold closing operation: Place the mold on the workbench and drive the mold closing device through a hydraulic or pneumatic system to tightly close the upper and lower molds, forming a closed cavity. The clamping force can be adjusted according to the size and requirements of the mold to ensure that there are no gaps during the wax injection process and prevent wax leakage.
(3) Wax injection process: After the mold is closed, the pressure system injects the wax liquid from the wax cylinder into the mold cavity through the nozzle. The wax injection pressure and speed can be precisely adjusted according to the shape, size, and process requirements of the wax mold, so that the wax liquid can quickly and evenly fill the mold cavity, forming a wax mold that is consistent with the shape of the mold cavity.
(4) Cooling molding: After wax injection is completed, the wax liquid inside the mold is cooled through the mold's own cooling channel or external cooling device, allowing the wax liquid to quickly solidify and form. After the wax mold has cooled to a certain degree, open the mold, take out the formed wax mold, and complete a wax injection cycle.
3. Performance characteristics
(1) High precision wax injection: Equipped with an advanced control system, it can accurately control the wax injection pressure, speed, and time, ensuring the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the wax mold, and meeting the wax mold forming needs of high-quality and high-precision castings.
(2) Easy to operate: PLC control system is usually used, which can store multiple sets of process parameters. All parameter settings are completed on the touch screen, and the operation interface is friendly. Operators only need simple training to master the operation methods of the equipment proficiently.
(3) Efficient production: Although the single workstation design can only produce one wax mold at a time, the wax injection and cooling cycle of the equipment is relatively short, which can achieve continuous production and improve production efficiency. In addition, some single station C-type wax injection machines can also be equipped with fast cylinders and other devices to further shorten the production cycle.
(4) Good stability: Key components such as hydraulic components, heating elements, etc. are usually made of high-quality imported components or well-known domestic brand products, which are reliable in quality, stable in performance, and can maintain good working conditions during long-term continuous operation, reducing equipment failures and maintenance times.
